They trod around him, wary of the mad; He'd always been
a strange one, always off alone With daft ideas. But this looked
bad, The end seemed nigh, the day of judgement near. Who'd pay
the bills, who'd scare the circling sharks And keep kids off the
dole If Uncle Stumpy's mind had joined the birds?
The Warrior stopped by to say g'day, and cast a wary eye upon the
girl; A friend had stuffed his hard-disk, had to go, Techie's
need and techie's honour … She didn't meet his gaze, but muttered
Stumpy's lost his marbles, Prawn, we ought'a help But how? He's
fruitcake, So we're dessert and done for here, you know.
