Village life; Markham Valley foothills Traditional village construction - more picturesque than imported galvanized iron sheets, but not always dry! A busy torrent of brown water.. Sleepy backwaters buzz with insect life Suspended 'rope' bridge made mostly from local materials
The bamboo slats made it easier not to look into the raging torrent, but you had to step on the sticks.. A perilous and only link with the outside world Pushing further into the mountains They still hatch dinosaurs around here... The river finds its way from the hills
